My journey in footwear began behind a shop counter as a part-time sales associate, fitting shoes while pursuing my university degree. Over the next 25 years, that first step became a global career that eventually led me to serve as Vice President of one of the world’s most successful footwear companies.
Yet throughout that journey, one frustration remained: watching women suffer for style.
The old adage “it hurts to look good” never sat right with me. Why should a woman standing at her gala, celebrating her achievements, be counting down the minutes until she can finally take off her shoes? Why should elegance demand sacrifice?
I believed it shouldn’t.
That question became my mission. I traveled across Europe seeking out heritage mills and manufacturers who shared this vision—artisans who understood that true luxury means never having to choose between beauty and comfort.
